The Nursing Home Administrator is a full‑time, on‑site leadership role based in Clifton Forge, VA. This role oversees the daily operations of the skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, including resident care services, staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance. The administrator collaborates with clinical and support teams to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and resident satisfaction, while ensuring that care is compassionate and outcome‑focused.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities include supervising department leaders, managing facility finances, monitoring quality improvement initiatives, supporting staff training and development, and maintaining strong relationships with residents, families, and community partners. The role also involves staying current with state and federal regulations, preparing for surveys, and implementing policies and procedures that align with Trio Healthcare’s mission and performance goals.

• Demonstrated expertise in Nursing Home Administration and Long‑term Care, with the ability to lead and manage all aspects of facility operations.
• Experience with budgeting and financial management in a healthcare or senior care setting, including planning, cost control, and resource allocation.
• Knowledge of elder care principles and best practices, with a commitment to person‑centered, compassionate, and outcome‑oriented care.
• Ability to design and support training and staff development programs that enhance clinical quality, safety, and service excellence.
• Current state Nursing Home Administrator license (or eligibility to obtain), and working knowledge of CMS, state, and local regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective teams and collaborative relationships.
• Proven experience in quality improvement, survey readiness, and compliance initiatives in a skilled nursing or similar environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business, or a related field; advanced degree is preferred but not required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, make data‑informed decisions, and maintain professionalism in a fast‑paced, resident‑focused environment.
