Custodian - Part-time

Position Overview

Individual needed for a part-time custodial position. Responsible for the day to day cleaning of two facilities, the Lebanon Office and the Laurels Recovery Center, both located in Lebanon, VA. Duties include cleaning and sanitizing the facility and contents to ensure health and safety standards are met.

Duties may include vacuuming, dusting, mopping and buffing floors, cleaning windows, taking out the trash, and other related duties. Must be willing to clean other facilities as needed.

Tentative schedule is 24 hours per week, averaging 4 days a week, 6 hours per day. Maximum hours worked cannot exceed 27 hours per week.

Good housekeeping skills required. Ability to work independently. Dependable and regular work attendance is crucial. Ability to work flexible hours as needed. Valid driver’s license and good driving record also required.

CMCSB was formed in 1972 as a Chapter 10 Community Services Board under Virginia law. CMCSB provides mental health, intellectual disabilities and substance abuse treatment services to the residents of Buchanan, Russell, and Tazewell Counties. At the present time, CMCSB operates over twenty locations, to include outpatient offices, mental health recovery programs, group homes and day support programs for intellectually disabled individuals, and a residential alcohol and drug treatment program.

In addition, CMCSB has several services that are provided directly in an individual's home or in a supported environment. CMCSB also provides a 24‑hour crisis team to assist community agencies and individuals in crisis situations. CMCSB employs approximately 500 employees, which include full‑time and part‑time employees, as well as individuals receiving services who are employed to work in various day programs.
