We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our clinic staff in Hinton, VA. The ideal candidate will provide care, emergency response, ergonomic attention and administrative support for the Occupational Health clinic operation at the VPGC Poultry Processing facility.

• Provide direct patient care including vital signs monitoring, wound care, medication administration, and patient education under the supervision of healthcare providers.
• Assist physicians, nurse practitioners, and other clinical staff during examinations and procedures.
• Perform triage and basic emergency care as needed, utilizing EMT skills.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms, medical equipment, and supplies to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Coordinate patient flow and assist with scheduling and follow‑up appointments.
• Respond promptly to patient inquiries and provide compassionate support and education.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.

• Current and valid LPN license in the state of Virginia.
• Current EMT certification.
• Previous clinical experience preferred, especially in outpatient or primary care settings (minimum of 5 years of experience preferred).
• Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and patient care standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with keeping files.
• CPR certification required.

This position is based in a busy outpatient clinic setting in Hinton, VA. The role requires multitasking, organization, and the ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
