EMT or Paramedic;

Full‑Time EMT or Paramedic – Onsite Health Technician (Stuarts Draft, VA)

Location:

Stuarts Draft, VA. This full‑time position operates on a rotating schedule that includes 10‑hour and 12‑hour shifts with several consecutive days off each month.

Schedule sample:

• Week 1 – Sunday & Saturday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
  Thursday & Friday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Week 2 – Sunday, Friday & Saturday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
• Week 3 – (schedule varies)
• Week 4 – Monday & Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage health service functions and daily clinic operations.
• Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees.
• Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses per Medcor’s Evidence‑Based Medicine protocols (MCPs).
• Build and maintain internal team relationships.
• Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts.
• Collaborate with client professionals in health, safety, and environmental practices.
• Collaborate with client Human Resources and benefits professionals on clinic issues.
• Document and manage information using electronic medical records (EMR) software and other tools.
• Conduct pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings.
• Perform Physical Assessment Testing (PATs).
• Manage case‑management activities.
• Maintain OSHA record‑keeping.

Qualifications (You Must):

• Work independently with strong time‑management and organizational skills.
• Hold valid licensure applicable to the EMT or Paramedic role and current CPR/BLS certification.
• Proficient with computers, mobile devices, texting, fax, and familiar with EMR software.
• Capable of lifting a 50 lb. emergency response bag.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive, outgoing personality.
• Willing to go above and beyond.
• Passionate about people and delivering high‑quality care.
• Can maintain a sense of fun in the workplace.

Preferred (It’s a Plus If):

• Comfortable working in a worksite clinic environment.
• Relevant occupational health experience.
• Experience in emergency medicine or critical care.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Sign‑On Bonus: $3,000.
• Hourly pay: $29.00–$31.00.
