Position Overview

Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I – Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, responsible for filling, packaging, and preparing prescriptions for delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify prescription orders and retrieve medications from inventory.
  • Apply labels, scan, and assemble medications into appropriate bins accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Alert pharmacist of any medication that fails to scan properly.
  • Participate in training and development to gain proficiency in additional fulfillment workflow areas.
  • Communicate inventory needs to maintain adequate medication supply.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory levels, removing expired or unused medications, and keeping storage areas organized.
  • Support physical inventory activities as required.
  • Consistently meet pharmacy’s accuracy and productivity standards.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and other functional areas to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workstation; put medications away and replenish supplies.
  • Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies related to dispensing prescription medications.
Qualifications & Skills
  • High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements).
  • Pharmacy Technician license, registration, or certification required;
    National Certification (PTCB) preferred.
  • 1+ year of related experience (technical knowledge or skills may substitute).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Fast‑paced, team‑oriented work style with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Quality‑minded; proactive in identifying and addressing errors.
  • Flexible working hours.
