Verland is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our team. In this crucial role, you will provide exceptional care to individuals who call Verland home. The position is located at the Pococen House in Moon Township, Pennsylvania (15108).

Salary: $19.25 per hour. New hires receive a $2,000 sign‑on bonus.

Full time – 40 hours per week, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Tuesday through Saturday.

• Enrich and support residents while maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
• Introduce and encourage skill development through active treatment activities.
• Implement individualized programs and record all observations and daily progress notes.
• Participate in planning social, home, and recreational activities.
• Assist with meals and perform cleaning and laundry duties in the house.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities in Verland vehicles.
• Bathe, dress and assist clients with personal hygiene.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed.
• Administer medication.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable means of transportation.
• Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions.
• Must pass a complete background, physical, and drug screening.
• Experience is not required.

Two weeks of paid training will be provided to new hires, covering daily living skills, social engagement, personal hygiene skills, and individual support plans. Completion of training is required before employment begins.
