Job Overview

TNAA Total Med Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for an assignment in Gwynn Oak, Maryland.

As an SLP, you will assist patients with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments and evaluate and develop individualized plans of care for a variety of patient populations in an acute care setting.

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans tailored to patient needs.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders, causes, disabilities, and traumatic events.
• Report progress and status to relevant parties, including families, teachers, or medical professionals.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

Must have 6 months of experience (though new graduates are encouraged to apply). Must hold BLS and ASHA‑SLP National Certification with state‑specific licensing.

• State or national licensing as required.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
• BLS certification required.
• ASHA certification required.
