Experience:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia
- Experience providing PT services within a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs and the ability to document and monitor progress toward individualized goals
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, educators, and families
- Commitment to encouraging student participation and adapting interventions as needed
- Deliver direct, hands‑on physical therapy services to students according to their IEPs
- Assess student needs, develop treatment plans, and document progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team strategies
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy within the classroom and daily routines
- Adjust schedules and caseload as additional students join the program
- Advocate for student independence and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards
