Licensed School Psychologist Client's Available Hours- 37.5 hours per week
- Onsite position
The Licensed School Psychologist will provide psychological services to students, including evaluation, intervention, and consultation. The School Psychologist will collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote students' academic achievement, social‑emotional development, and behavioral success.
Client's Required Skills & Experience- Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Active Virginia School Psychologist license or eligibility to practice in Virginia
- Minimum of two years of school‑based experience preferred
- Complete approximately 60‑80 psychological evaluations throughout the school year
- Conduct psychological testing only (no educational testing required)
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
- Provide individual and/or group counseling services
- Strong knowledge of special education regulations, assessment practices, and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Establish a relationship with one of the nation's largest referral agencies for behavioral-health and special education.
