EMT or Paramedic; Part-Time

Medcor is hiring a Part‑Time EMT or Paramedic as an Onsite Health Technician at our construction site clinic in Mineral, VA. The position operates Wednesday and Friday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm; days and hours may vary based on client needs.

• Collaborate with medical and operational leadership at Medcor, local medical providers, client staff, and key contacts within the client’s corporate structure.
• Provide patient care for workplace injuries and illnesses.
• Manage ongoing workers’ compensation cases.
• Facilitate Return to Work (RTW) program and monitor treatment plans.
• Coordinate with outside medical providers.
• Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on‑site clinic.
• Deliver superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees.
• Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence Based Medicine protocols (Medcor Care Protocols).
• Build and maintain internal team relationships.
• Support on‑site employee health and wellness initiatives.
• Conduct pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings.
• Document care using state‑of‑the‑art EMR and other tools.
• Perform Physical Assessment Testing (PATs).
• Manage case files and OSHA record‑keeping.
• Chart medical information.

• Valid licensure for the position being applied to.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Physical ability to lift a 50‑lb emergency response bag.

• Comfortable working in a construction environment.
• Familiarity with EMR software.
• Experience in emergency medicine or critical care.
