We are seeking compassionate clinicians to provide individual and group counseling services within our residential addiction treatment program.
This opportunity is open to:
- Certified Substance Abuse Counselors (CSAC)
- Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC)
- Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW)
- Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists (LMFT)
Clinicians work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary treatment team to provide evidence based care while supporting clients throughout their recovery journey.
Responsibilities- Provide individual counseling and psychotherapy
- Facilitate psycho educational and process groups
- Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and clinical documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
- Coordinate care with families and referral sources when appropriate
- Provide crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain compliance with Virginia regulations, Joint Commission standards, HIPAA requirements, and Warriors Heart policies
- Contribute to a positive, mission focused culture centered on healing and recovery
Required
One of the following Virginia credentials in good standing:
- CSAC
- LPC
- LCSW
- LMFT
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Strong clinical documentation skills
Successful completion of background screening
Commitment to ethical practice and client centered care
Preferred
- Experience treating substance use disorders
- Experience treating trauma and PTSD
- Knowledge of the 12 Step recovery model
- Experience working with Military, Veterans, First Responders, or their families
- Experience in residential behavioral healthcare
