This position is full time, working Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm or 7:45am-4:45pm. The Healthcare Administrative Associate supports front office operations by performing administrative, scheduling, registration, and customer service functions to ensure efficient and effective patient care delivery. Depending upon the size and practice work flows, the Healthcare Administrative Associate may only perform one of the higher levels functions as opposed to multiple functions.
The Healthcare Administrative Associate Performs front office functions including patient registration, scheduling, check-in, and check-out processes. Manages multi-line phone systems, screens calls, and routes messages appropriately. Maintains accurate patient demographic, insurance, and eligibility information. Collects co-payments, deductibles, and other payments and balances daily transactions. Coordinates referrals and obtains insurance authorizations as required. Maintains and organizes medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Performs charge entry, coding support, and resolves billing-related issues. Uses electronic medical record systems for scheduling, reporting, and documentation. Provides directions and assistance to patients and visitors. Maintains reports, databases, and spreadsheets and performs basic data analysis. Supports administrative functions including correspondence, reports, and meeting materials. Assists with event coordination, scheduling logistics, and departmental projects. Performs basic clinical support tasks under supervision as assigned.
Serves as a resource for team members and assists with training as needed. Maintains a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
Strong customer service orientation and communication skills. Knowledge of medical terminology, office procedures, and electronic medical records. Proficiency in computer data entry and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation Range:$16.18 - $22.65 Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
