Location: Haymarket
Sonographer
Work in concert with the radiologists to obtain high quality ultrasound images and provide exceptional patient care.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED. Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred. Must meet the education requirement for diagnostic medical ultrasound certification with ARDMS or ARRT.
Experience:
1 year experience in sonography preferred. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy for additional details.
Licensure: ARDMS certified within first year of employment required.

Required:
Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communications. Ability to work in a stressful environment. Ability to multitask and prioritize quickly. Ability to perform diagnostic procedures and to meet the specific needs of various patient age groups: neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.
The incumbent may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned.

The job requires constant standing, frequently walking, and bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills. Attention to detail and ability to write legibly. Ability to lift/push/pull 100 lbs. For any weight over 35 lbs., use Safe Handling Equipment.

The base compensation for this role is $45.00 hourly.
