Pro Care Therapy is seeking a Part Time Physical Therapist for a school-based, contracted position near Zacata, VA.This role is ideal for a physical therapist who values both autonomy and collaboration, offering the chance to work 8 hours per week supporting young learners' mobility, function, and overall well-being.
Your weekly hours will be distributed across direct student services, detailed documentation, and necessary travel between school buildings. What Youll Bring:
- Valid Physical Therapist licensure
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and educators
- Comfort with IEPs, school documentation, and adapting interventions to diverse age groups and abilities
- Self-motivation and reliability to work independently and manage your time across campuses
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students functional skills and develop individualized physical therapy plans
- Deliver direct therapy services as outlined by IEPs
- Consult with teachers and school staff for integrated support
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school requirements
- Communicate student progress to families and school teams
- Travel between designated school locations as needed during the contracted hours
