Delivery Driver​/Medical Equipment Technician

DME Express LLC seeks a Delivery Driver/Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and retrieve durable medical equipment for hospices, hospitals, and healthcare facilities. Responsibilities include safe vehicle operation, accurate loading/unloading, in-home setup, basic equipment instruction, and timely documentation. You'll coordinate with dispatch and clinical staff, follow infection-control and safety protocols, and handle urgent, same-day requests in a fast-paced environment while providing respectful, patient-centered service and representing our mission of speed, reliability, and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and retrieve durable medical equipment from homes and healthcare facilities
• Load, unload, and secure medical equipment to prevent damage and ensure cleanliness and safety
• Set up equipment on-site, verify proper function, and provide basic instruction to patients or caregivers
• Follow infection-control, cleaning, and safety protocols for equipment handling and transport
• Coordinate routes and schedules with dispatch to meet time-sensitive and same-day delivery needs
• Complete documentation, delivery confirmations, and inventory tracking accurately and promptly
• Communicate professionally with hospice, hospital, and facility staff to support patient needs
• Lift, move, and position equipment safely, using proper body mechanics and tools
• Report vehicle or equipment issues and participate in routine inspections and maintenance
• Uphold DME Express standards for reliability, responsiveness, and respectful, patient-centered service
