Pay:$58,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Addy’s Colors Collaborative Care Clinicis seeking a compassionate, clinically skilled

Mental Health Therapist to join our growing collaborative care team. We provide integrated, trauma-informed services designed to support the whole person and strengthen individuals and families.

Position Overview

The Mental Health Therapist provides assessment, individual, family, and/or group therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families based on clinical experience and area of expertise. The therapist will work collaboratively with other members of the Addy’s Colors team, including primary care providers, care coordinators, and other behavioral health professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based mental health therapy.
  • Complete clinical assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required documentation.
  • Develop individualized treatment goals in collaboration with clients and families.
  • Provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and strengths-based care.
  • Coordinate care with primary care providers, care coordinators, schools, community agencies, and other professionals as appropriate.
  • Participate in collaborative care and interdisciplinary team meetings.
  • Monitor client progress and modify treatment approaches when clinically appropriate.
  • Complete required documentation accurately and within established timelines.
  • Maintain professional, ethical, and legal standards of practice.
  • Participate in supervision, consultation, staff meetings, and continuing education.
  • Assist with crisis assessment and safety planning when clinically indicated.
  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and protect client confidentiality.
  • Support Addy’s Colors' mission of providing accessible, compassionate, whole-person care.
Preferred Clinical Experience

Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:

  • Trauma and attachment
  • Children and adolescents
  • Family therapy
  • Play therapy
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Behavioral concerns
  • Grief and loss
  • ADHD
  • Autism and neurodevelopmental differences
  • Complex family systems
  • Crisis intervention
  • Integrated behavioral health
Qualifications
  • Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Current Virginia clinical license or appropriate residency/internship status.
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to trauma-informed and client-centered care.
  • Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality.
  • Reliable, organized, and compassionate approach to clinical care.
