Stability Health Care is looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant Therapy contract position in Accomac, Virginia. PTAs assist PTs in implementing treatment plans for patients, including exercises, stretches, and other therapeutic activities. They also provide education to patients and their families on proper exercise techniques, assistive devices, and injury prevention. PTAs may work in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, and outpatient clinics.
They play a crucial role in helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life.
Job Requirements:
- After completing a PTA program, you must pass the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs to become licensed to practice as a PTA. 2 years of experience required
