This position is onsite at our Bristow facility, designed for optimal patient interaction and therapy implementation. The clinic features state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and therapeutic tools that enhance recovery processes. You will work alongside a team of professional healthcare providers in a patient-focused, efficient environment, ensuring that our clients receive top-notch care throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient evaluations to establish individualized treatment plans that address specific rehabilitation goals.
- Administer hands-on therapy techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, utilizing specialized equipment to improve patient mobility and pain management.
- Maintain a patient caseload of 1-2 patients per hour, focusing on delivering personalized care while adhering to established clinical guidelines.
- Develop clear, measurable goals for each patient's rehabilitation process, allowing for tracking of progress and adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and support staff, to coordinate comprehensive care plans for patients.
You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation and injury management. Our clientele ranges from active individuals seeking to regain function after injuries to older adults focusing on improving mobility and independence. Your role will be vital in providing education and support to empower patients through their recovery journey.
Qualifications- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited academic institution.
- Active Virginia Physical Therapist license in good standing, demonstrating your commitment to professional excellence.
- Two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, particularly in an outpatient orthopedic setting, showcasing your hands-on skills with patient care.
While the minimum requirement is two years of experience, additional experience in specialties such as manual therapy or vestibular rehabilitation is a plus. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous, as it ensures that you can document patient interactions efficiently while complying with clinical standards.
