Our clinic is located in the heart of Chantilly, Virginia, offering a collaborative and dynamic outpatient office setting. You'll be working a standard 40-hour week, with some flexibility for weekend shifts as needed. Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, assessing functional limitations and disabilities to inform treatment planning.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, ensuring continuity throughout patients' rehabilitation.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, using various therapeutic techniques, modalities, and patient education.
- Maintain thorough documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and any updates, adhering to legal and professional standards.
- Lead community outreach initiatives and participate in marketing efforts to raise awareness about our services and support organizational growth.
- Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly, adjusting plans as necessary based on patient progress.
- Provide mentorship and supervision for support staff, ensuring a cohesive treatment approach within the clinic.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay current with industry trends and improve clinical skills.
In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your ability to connect with diverse patients, providing culturally competent care, is crucial for achieving improved health outcomes. You will also collaborate extensively with families and caregivers to support treatment goals and discharge planning, ensuring adherence and a smooth transition back to daily activities.
Qualifications- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
- Current state licensure in Physical Therapy is mandatory for practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in computer and documentation systems.
While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in outpatient orthopedic settings will be given preference. Familiarity with evidence-based practice and proficiency in modern therapeutic modalities will enhance your candidacy. Additional certifications in orthopedics or manual therapy are a plus and will further distinguish your application.
Compensation and BenefitsThe annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
