Trail bound Rehabilitation & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team in Dulles, Virginia. As a Physical Therapist at our center, you will work alongside a team of experienced healthcare professionals in an environment that values learning, flexibility, and ongoing development.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate, assess, and create individualized treatment plans for patients with functional limitations and disabilities, utilizing the best available evidence and clinical judgment.
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including taking comprehensive histories, performing clinical assessments, and documenting results to support each patient's unique care plan.
- Implement treatment protocols based on evaluation findings, continuously monitoring patient progress and adjusting interventions as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care, including consultations and team meetings to discuss cases requiring multidisciplinary input.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, including detailed encounter notes, progress summaries, and discharge evaluations, in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to remain informed on the latest therapies, technologies, and practices in the field of physical therapy.
- Engage with team initiatives to improve access to rehabilitation services and enhance patient experiences.
As a Physical Therapist at Trail bound, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, chronic pain, and post-operative rehabilitation. Your interventions will directly contribute to their recovery journey, with a focus on restoring mobility, enhancing function, and improving overall quality of life. Our commitment to personalized care enables you to establish meaningful relationships with your patients, ensuring their rehabilitation experiences are as positive and effective as possible.
Qualifications- A Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited physical therapy program is required; a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
- Possession of a valid physical therapy license in the state of Virginia.
- At least two years of relevant experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
- Current CPR certification to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing innovative treatment plans that meet the individual needs of patients.
- Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and patient management.
- Familiarity with team-based approaches and collaborative care in a rehabilitation setting.
