Position Overview
Trails Rehabilitation & Wellness Pro is looking for a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team. This full-time position is based in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in Mc Lean, Virginia. As an essential member of the orthopedic unit, you will provide hands-on patient care while working collaboratively with a team of skilled healthcare professionals.

WorkEnvironment
Our Mc Lean rehabilitation center offers a welcoming and well-equipped environment, designed to facilitate effective physical therapy treatments. You will be working in a modern setting with access to advanced therapeutic equipment and resources. Our typical working hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while focusing on patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Comply with state regulations governing physical therapy practice, ensuring adherence to legal and professional standards.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, including reviewing medical histories, performing physical examinations, and developing individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs.
- Implement and monitor therapeutic exercises and interventions aligned with evaluation findings, ensuring protocols are executed effectively in response to patient progress.
- Consult with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care, recognizing when additional interventions or referrals are required.
- Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress accurately and in a timely manner to maintain clear communication within the care team and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring patients have the appropriate resources for continued recovery and rehabilitation.
- Engage in facility meetings and collaborative discussions aimed at improving service delivery and patient access.
- Maintain all necessary training and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding clinical practices and corporate policies.
In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will focus on helping individuals regain strength, mobility, and functionality, ultimately guiding them toward their recovery goals. The collaborative nature of our care team ensures a rounded approach to treatment that considers both psychological and physical aspects of recovery.
Qualifications- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
- A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic modalities and patient management.
- Current CPR certification, ensuring readiness for emergency situations.
- Experience utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and treatment planning.
- Familiarity with evidence-based treatment protocols specific to orthopedic rehabilitation.
- Proven track record of effectively collaborating within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
This position offers a competitive salary, ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
