Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough evaluations of patients referred to the facility by physicians, taking into account their medical history, physical condition, and specific needs.
  • Designing and implementing individualized treatment programs that address a variety of orthopedic conditions, ensuring they meet the physician's plan of care.
  • Providing skilled therapeutic interventions during patient visits, utilizing manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to promote healing.
  • Engaging with patients and their families through education, consultation, and training to empower them in their rehabilitation journey.
  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation as per licensing regulations and organizational standards.
  • Consistency in meeting utilization goals and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the clinic.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on treating patients with orthopedic concerns, including but not limited to sports injuries, post-operative recovery, and chronic pain management. You will also have the opportunity to work with pediatric and neurologic patients, expanding your clinical expertise and patient interaction. Each day will present unique challenges as you tailor your treatment plans to meet the specific functional goals of the diverse patient population.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (APTA or CAPTE-approved).
  • A valid state license in Physical Therapy.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
  • Proficiency in word processing and computer skills for documentation and patient management.
Preferred Experience

While not required, preference will be given to candidates who have:

  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
  • Previous experience in a rehabilitation setting or specializations in pediatric or neurologic therapy.
  • Experience with evidence-based treatment methodologies and a track record of successfully meeting patient goals.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including:
