As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Touchstone Health Therapy, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients, which involves reviewing pertinent medical histories and performing targeted assessments.
• Collaborating with patients and their families to establish individualized treatment plans that incorporate their goals and preferences.
• Implementing evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to patients' needs while keeping abreast of the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Consulting with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care and ensuring any changes in condition are documented and addressed promptly.
• Managing patient documentation efficiently, including initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, progress summaries, and discharge evaluations.
• Participating in hospital and community outreach programs to enhance patient access and care.
• Exhibiting effective time management skills to meet productivity targets while maintaining a flexible schedule.
• Continuously pursuing further professional development through attending workshops, receiving additional training, and mentoring students as a clinical instructor.

You will primarily work with orthopedically-focused patients within various age groups, utilizing treatments that can include post-surgical rehabilitation, injury recovery, and preventive care. Your engagement will significantly contribute to our patients' recovery journeys, helping them regain function and improve their quality of life.

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Current certification in CPR from the American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• A strong commitment to professional excellence and patient-centered care.

While prior work experience is not mandatory, any experience within orthopedic physical therapy or home care settings is highly advantageous and will contribute to your success in this role.
