Certified Aba Therapist
The purpose of this full-time certified ABA Therapist position is to provide an additional level of support to the students of Russell County. Access to these services will be available during the routine school day and the after-school program. The ABA Therapist will be responsible for provision of direct ABA services to students of Russell County Public Schools in school-based settings, while utilizing evidence-based principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and appropriately designed interventions.
Provide sound ABA practices in school-based interventions for behavioral support of students
Collaborate with school staff and families
Conduct functional behavioral assessments (FBAs)
Collect and record data to track behaviors
Assist in the development and implementation of individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
Provide direct ABA therapy services
Follow all applicable confidentiality, ethical, and safety standards
Maintain accurate and timely documentation / record keeping
BCBA certification will be required.
