Medical Billing Collections Manassas Va

Pay From: $23 Per Hour

MUST:
Experience in a surgical setting or multi specialty medical practice 3+ solid years of medical billing experience with strong collections and insurance follow up Strong knowledge of claims, reimbursements and collections for Medicare, Managed Care, Workers Comp, commercial payors Working with various payors and payor portals Following up on and working/appealing denied claims A/R experience Reviewing EOB's Strong collections experience and comfortable making collection calls Experience taking calls from patients and responding to billing questions Charge entry and payment posting experience

DUTIES The duties of the Medical Billing Collections candidate include but are not limited to the following:

• Follow up with denied claims and resubmit for payment
• Review EOB's
• Follow up on commercial and Medicare claims
• Assist with billing questions
• Call patients to reviewing outstanding bills
• Submit appeals on rejected claims
• Resubmit claims for payment
• Handle charge entry and payment posting
