DescriptionImaging Patient Assistant (IA's) performs activities as assigned, including coordinating outpatient changing, escorting patients, assisting with moving and transporting patients, and performing CPR when necessary. Assists in screening process of Imaging patients and any clerical and scheduling functions. IA's are responsibility for appropriate consent forms and exam prep work.
* Maintains work area in an efficient, organized state, following all safety and confidentiality guidelines.
* Maintains high professional standard of conduct and patient care, while exemplifying and promoting Augusta Health values.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience Requirements
- Must be CPR certified or willing to complete an approved course
- Should have experience working in the hospital or health care environment
- Must possess effective communication skills
