Meaningful patient relationships begin with exceptional clinical support. As a Certified Medical Assistant at UVA Health's Crozet Family Medicine & Specialty Care Clinic, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while helping patients navigate their healthcare journey across every stage of life.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary practice serving a close-knit rural community where patients are highly engaged in their care and providers have the privilege of building lasting relationships over many years. If you thrive in a team-focused environment and enjoy making a direct impact on patient outcomes, this role offers both professional fulfillment and meaningful connection.

The Role

As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will support providers and care teams in a dynamic outpatient setting that blends family medicine with specialty care services. The clinic's longitudinal care model allows you to become an important part of patients' lives while contributing to continuity, quality, and coordination of care.

In a typical day, you will:

  • Prepare patients for visits, gather health information, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Support providers during examinations and procedures while maintaining a smooth patient flow.
  • Perform clinical and administrative tasks that help ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care delivery.
  • Coordinate communications between patients, providers, specialists, and support services.
  • Educate patients and families while reinforcing care plans and preventive health initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals across the clinic.

What makes this role especially rewarding is the opportunity to care for patients throughout the lifespan, from infancy through older adulthood. You'll become part of a care team that values relationship-based medicine, teamwork, and delivering exceptional experiences for every patient encounter.
