Practice Administrator - Primary Cares

• Pay or shift range: $85,238.40 USD to $ USD
  The pay range reflects the current compensation range for this position at the time of posting. Individual offers are determined based on directly related experience, skills, education, internal equity, and other job-related factors. Not all candidates will qualify for the upper end of the posted range.

As a member of the management team responsible for the Primary Care Service Line, reports to the Primary Care Director. The Practice Administrator is assigned several AMG provider practices. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, delegating, coordinating, and controlling the operations of all assigned practices. The Practice Administrator works collaboratively with medical office managers and providers to ensure the efficient and effective daily operation of the practices including but not limited to the supervision and evaluation of the practice staff and all practice operations, budget management and financial oversight and review, and business process analysis and redesign.

He/she develops business plans and financial proformas to evaluate growth opportunities. Provides expertise in front end revenue cycle processes, practice performance analytics, patient through-put, quantitative analysis and practice start-up.

Education, Licensure/Certification s, and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field required
• Master’s degree in healthcare or business administration preferred
• Four Years Healthcare experience, including one year supervisory or lead experience required
• Two years of management experience in a physician practice or ambulatory care setting within a hospital system preferred.

* Directly responsible for the overall operations at assigned practices including: directing the daily clinical and business operations , developing, leading, and implementing short and long-term strategic plans, implementing solutions to office processes, implementing and evaluating marketing and business development activities.

• Management of operations includes, but not limited to analyzing access and patient throughput, improving customer satisfaction, productivity analysis and efficiency studies , human resource management and development.

* Meets/exceeds performance in assigned practices related to AMG and organizational goals. Meets key performance indicator metrics.

* Prioritizes, makes decisions and establishes clear performance expectations for staff.

* Responsible for financial viability of the AMG practices as assigned, including but not limited to

• Monitoring progress against budget
• Planning and implementing capital expenditures
• Following progress of business office
• Planning and maintaining operating budget on a practice-by-practice level.
• Monitoring provider progress on the compensation plan.

* Serves as partner to providers in assigned practices and liaison between providers and AMG administration

* Prepares short and long-term marketing, community outreach and practice development/performance plans. Monitors progress and adjust plans as needed

* Ensures providers at assigned practices understand their obligations

• As specified by their agreements with AMG
• in compliance with AMG policies and procedures
• in support of AMG goals

* Applies process improvement methodologies such as LEAN, DMAIC, process mapping and value-stream mapping to design process improvements studies throughout AMG

* Supports clinical and office staff in upholding clinical quality in practice

* Facilitates monthly provider meetings within assigned practices
