Cardiac Monitor Technician PRN

• Pay or shift range: $19.08 USD to $29.19 USD

Responsible for monitoring patient status via electronic systems and notification of the patient care team when a variance or audible alarm occurs according to policy.

Education

High School Graduate or Equivalent required.

Licensure/ Certification

ECG Certification required within 12 months of hire date by the American Board of Cardiovascular Medicine.

Experience

Cardiac rhythm interpretation experience strongly preferred.

Competencies, Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

• Completion of cardiac arrhythmia course and/or demonstrated competency in rhythm analysis upon hire.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
• Proficiency in computer programs required to perform the role.
