Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Line Cook at the Tides Inn, located in Irvington, VA. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to the highest standards, ensuring proper food presentation, and adhering to food safety regulations. Additional responsibilities include assisting with inventory management, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and collaborating with the culinary team to create a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Qualifications
  • Strong culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen sanitation practices
  • Time management and organizational skills to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse culinary team
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality dishes
  • Relevant experience in a similar role or culinary training is preferred
