Carris Reels seeks a motivated, people-focused Human Resources Generalist / Office Manager to help shape a positive, performance-driven culture across our organization.
In this role, you’ll be a trusted partner to employees and leaders on all three shifts—supporting team development, engagement, and growth while reinforcing our core values of teamwork, safety, shared ownership, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do- Serve as a culture ambassador, promoting our employee-owned values and commitment to shared success.
- Partner with supervisors and managers to provide HR guidance in areas such as employee relations, team development, coaching, and engagement.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment—including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding—with a focus on building strong, long-term teams.
- Maintain accurate employee data, including attendance and timekeeping, and collaborate with Corporate HR/EHS/payroll to ensure system updates, recordkeeping and complaince are timely and accurate.
- Support employees through benefits administration, workers’ compensation, and leaves of absence while maintaining compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- Lead training programs that enhance leadership, reinforce safety practices, and encourage continuous improvement.
- Conduct safety performance analysis and deliver action plans that support EHS objectives and results.
- Partner with managers to provide coaching on performance feedback, development planning, and recognition strategies that boost retention and morale.
- Drive employee engagement by supporting team development, wellness, and community involvement initiatives.
- Ensure consistent communication and application of company policies; serve as a trusted resource for both employees and leaders.

- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.
- 5+ years of HR and/or safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust at all levels.
- HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP); OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS and EHS systems.
