• As a Red Hat Certified System Administrator, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of Integrated Undersea Surveillance Systems. You will play a crucial role in helping design networks and helping to secure them with proper cybersecurity techniques.
• Lead/Manage/Support - assist leading team of cybersecurity SME's in securing various customer networks
• Drive key outcomes and help the team innovate and resolve challenges, etc.
• Understand and use essential tools for handling files, directories, command-line environments, and documentation
• Create simple shell scripts
• Operate running systems, including booting into different run levels, identifying processes, starting and stopping virtual machines, and controlling services
• Configure local storage using partitions and logical volumes
• Create and configure file systems and file system attributes, such as permissions, encryption, access control lists, and network file systems
• Deploy, configure, and maintain systems, including software installation, update, and core services
• Manage users and groups
• Manage security, including basic firewall and SELinux configuration
• Perform basic container management

• Education:
  
  Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
• Experience:
  
  5+ years of related experience
• Technical skills:
  Be proficient in cybersecurity DoW policies and procedures. Certified IAM Level III and RHSA certification
• Security clearance level:
  Secret
• US citizenship required
• Role requirements:
  
  Primarily work on-site, some travel may be required
