Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dynatrace Engineer with strong experience in application performance monitoring, observability, and enterprise monitoring solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise implementing and managing Dynatrace across complex enterprise environments, enabling proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of critical applications and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Dynatrace monitoring solutions across enterprise applications and infrastructure
- Implement end-to-end observability for cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments
- Monitor application performance, infrastructure health, user experience, and business transactions
- Configure dashboards, alerts, custom metrics, and reporting within Dynatrace
- Integrate Dynatrace with CI/CD pipelines, ITSM tools, and Dev Ops workflows
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot application/infrastructure performance issues
- Collaborate with Dev Ops, SRE, Infrastructure, and Development teams to optimize monitoring strategy
- Support synthetic monitoring, real user monitoring (RUM), log monitoring, and distributed tracing
- Automate monitoring deployment using Infrastructure as Code / scripting tools
- Ensure monitoring standards, governance, and best practices are followed
- 8+ years of IT/Monitoring/Observability experience
- 5+ years of hands-on Dynatrace Administration/Engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of APM, Infrastructure Monitoring, RUM, Synthetic Monitoring, Distributed Tracing
- Experience with Dynatrace One Agent, Active Gate, Management Zones, Dashboards, Alerting Profiles
- Experience monitoring Java, .NET, Node.js, Python, or Microservices-based applications
- Familiarity with AWS / Azure / GCP cloud environments
- Knowledge of Kubernetes / Docker / Open Shift monitoring
- Experience with scripting/automation using Python, Bash, Power Shell, or Terraform
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
- Dynatrace Certification preferred
- Experience with Splunk, App Dynamics, New Relic, Datadog, or other observability platforms
- Experience in financial services / enterprise-scale environments
- Knowledge of ITIL / Incident Management processes
