Title: IT Operator - Desktop Support
Location: Merrifield, VA
Position Type: Contract
Compensation: Pay Range: $25.00 - $27.75 Per HR
Join our team as a Desktop Support IT Operator, where you'll be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting IT systems in a dynamic environment. This onsite contract position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently. You'll work with a variety of technologies, providing support to end users and ensuring smooth IT operations.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end users.
- Maintain basic networking and cybersecurity protocols.
- Utilize ticketing systems to manage and track support requests.
- Collaborate effectively with team members in a fast-paced setting.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures.
- 1-5 years of experience in troubleshooting operating system issues.
- Proficiency with productivity software and remote support tools.
- Experience with password management and virtual desktop environments is a plus.
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred.
