We're supporting a highly regarded technology organization delivering critical solutions across the US Intelligence and National Security community, who are searching for a Linux Systems Administrator.
As demand across several long-standing programs continues to grow, they are looking to add a Linux Systems Administrator to their Fairfax, VA team. This is an opportunity to work within a large-scale enterprise environment supporting infrastructure that underpins some of the most technically challenging and important missions.
The role offers exposure to both traditional enterprise platforms and modern cloud-native technologies, making it ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure problems while continuing to develop their technical skillset.
Responsibilities- Administering and supporting enterprise Linux environments
- Maintaining infrastructure across physical, virtual and cloud-based platforms
- Managing operating system upgrades, patching and security remediation
- Monitoring system performance, availability and capacity
- Troubleshooting hardware, operating system and network-related issues
- Supporting application deployments and infrastructure enhancements
- Building, testing and validating new server environments
- Working closely with engineering teams to improve automation, reliability and scalability
- Administering and supporting enterprise Linux environments
- Maintaining infrastructure across physical, virtual and cloud-based platforms

- Kubernetes, Docker or containerized environments
- Cloud platforms and cloud-native architectures
- Puppet, Git Lab or other configuration management tools
- GPFS / IBM ESS
- Directory services administration
- Enterprise storage technologies including SAN and Fibre Channel
Applicants must hold an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility
