Senior Azure Architect / Technical Lead

We are seeking a Senior Azure Architect / Technical Lead to design and lead secure Azure Government cloud environments supporting mission-critical federal workloads across classified and unclassified networks. This is a hands-on architecture leadership role. You will own the cloud design, security posture, and technical execution across Dev, Test, and Production environments.

What You Will Lead:

• Azure Government architecture (IL5 / IL6)
• Secure Landing Zone design
• Multi-environment deployments (DEV / TEST / PROD)
• Zero Trust network architecture
• Identity integration (Entra  / CAC / PIV / SSO)
• VM-based infrastructure running Docker containers
• Enterprise M365 integration (Exchange, SharePoint, One Drive)
• Secure API integrations
• Technical oversight of engineering team

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect scalable, resilient, highly secure Azure environments
• Design VNET architecture, NSGs, WAF, private endpoints, routing controls
• Implement RBAC, conditional access, and privileged access management
• Ensure alignment with RMF, NIST 800-53, and ICD 503
• Support ATO documentation and security reviews
• Guide Dev Sec Ops  implementation and release management
• Design secure integration patterns for Azure OpenAI services within government environments

Required Skills:

• 8+ years Azure architecture experience
• Azure Government experience
• Experience in IL5 or IL6 environments
• Strong knowledge of RMF, ICD 503, NIST 800-53 Rev 5
• Experience with VM-based Docker deployments
• Experience integrating enterprise M365 services
