OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an experienced Dev Ops Engineer to support the development and deployment of classified software products for U.S. Government customers. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure across cloud and containerized environments. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in AWS, Red Hat Open Shift, Kubernetes, and Linux, along with a strong background in Dev Ops practices and automation.
GENERAL DUTIES:
* Design, implement, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure within AWS environments.
* Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Red Hat Open Shift.
* Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
* Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using industry-standard tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, or Ansible.
* Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems supporting mission-critical applications.
* Monitor system performance, availability, and security, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
* Collaborate with software engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and systems engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
* Ensure compliance with federal security requirements, organizational policies, and Dev Sec Ops best practices.
* Support classified product development in secure computing environments.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field. o Four (4) additional years of directly related professional experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
* Minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in AWS cloud engineering,
* Linux system administration, Dev Ops engineering, or a combination of these disciplines.
* Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
* Extensive experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters.
* Strong experience with Red Hat Open Shift.
* Advanced Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
* Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible, or similar).
* Experience with Git-based source control and modern Dev Ops workflows.
* Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills. DESIRED
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience supporting classified or DoD development environments.
* Familiarity with Dev Sec Ops principles and secure software development practices.
* Experience with container security, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks.
* AWS and/or Red Hat certifications.
* Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.
* Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a secure environment.
* Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional engineering teams.

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment supporting national security objectives. CLEARANCE:
* Active Top Secret minimum security clearance required
