Technical Support Analyst

Position: Technical Support Analyst 2

Job Overview:
Pay Range: $20.00hr - $25.00hr Requirement/Must Have:
Enterprise Audiovisual Systems Support experience. Experience troubleshooting, installing, operating, and maintaining AV equipment. Experience supporting live events, meetings, and classroom technology. Experience using a help desk or ticketing system. Availability to work scheduled evenings, weekends, holidays, and other non-standard hours. Responsibilities:
Provide daily operational support for audiovisual and instructional technology in classrooms, conference rooms, meeting spaces, and event venues. Diagnose and resolve issues involving projectors, displays, monitors, microphones, speakers, cameras, control systems, presentation equipment, and video conferencing platforms. Perform routine system testing, preventative maintenance, and equipment inspections to support reliable operation. Complete minor installation and replacement work, including replacing projectors, monitors, cables, and adapters.

Document service requests, repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment changes in the organization's ticketing or inventory systems. Provide audiovisual support for events, commencements, conferences, meetings, and executive functions. Coordinate with event organizers to confirm technical requirements and respond to issues during events. Provide professional technical assistance to faculty, staff, students, guests, and event participants. Assist users with classroom technology, presentation systems, conferencing platforms, and basic equipment operation.

Support departmental technology projects and emergency operations as assigned. Nice to Have: AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist Certification. Extron, Q-SYS, Biamp, or Crestron Manufacturer Certifications. Experience supporting audiovisual and instructional technology in a higher education environment.

Education:

Associate degree in Information Technology, Electronics, Audiovisual Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. At least 2+ years of experience supporting professional or enterprise audiovisual systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
