The Technical Service Delivery Manager leads IT service delivery and supplier relationships for Virginia's Information Technologies Agency (VITA), overseeing infrastructure services across voice/data networks, datacenters, security, and cloud environments. This role manages cross-functional teams, develops enterprise IT strategy, ensures service integration and compliance, and serves as the primary relationship focus for multiple technology suppliers supporting Executive Branch agencies. The position drives continuous improvement and modernization while maintaining operational stability in a complex, multi-datacenter hybrid environment.
Keyqualifications:
- Extensive experience leading IT service delivery and supplier relationship management in highly complex environments
- Experience leading diverse cross-functional teams delivering enterprise solutions
- Considerable knowledge of strategic IT, service delivery, large-dollar supplier/contract administration, and service lifecycle management
- Experience with private and public cloud architecture, operations, and management in hybrid environments
- Extensive experience tracking and solving IT problems with strong written communication skills
- Experience monitoring IT environments for compliance with information security and architecture standards
