The Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Agent is responsible for selling, servicing, and renewing insurance policies that protect individuals and businesses against property losses, liability risks, and other covered exposures.

Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Agent Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 14.42 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
• Evaluate clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate P&C insurance products.
• Generate quotes and explain policy options, coverage limits, exclusions, and premiums.
• Sell and renew auto, homeowners, renters, commercial, and other property and casualty insurance products.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.
• Assist clients with claims reporting and provide guidance throughout the claims process.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation in agency management systems.
• Follow up on leads, referrals, and cross-selling opportunities.
• Meet established sales goals and performance metrics.
• Stay current on insurance products, industry regulations, and underwriting guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with state insurance laws and company policies.

Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Agent

Qualifications:

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (or ability to obtain).
• High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous sales, customer service, or insurance experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
• Proficiency with computer systems, CRM software, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
