Location: Altavista

Supply Chain Planner responsible for demand planning, capacity outlook, production plan development through S&OP, and customer order management within an ERP system.

Job Requirements
  • 3+ years of planning or customer service experience
  • College degree or 5+ years of planning experience
  • Experience building production plans through the S&OP process
  • Experience managing demand inputs (forecasts and customer orders)
  • Experience with capacity utilization and optimization of WIP and finished goods
  • Supply chain management experience
  • ERP system experience
  • Inventory management experience
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with medium-term planning horizons (4–12 weeks)
  • Experience developing rolling 12-month capacity and forecast outlooks
  • Experience setting inventory targets based on service-level requirements and capacity constraints
  • Experience with customer order entry and specification compliance in ERP systems
Job Responsibilities
  • Manage the medium-term planning process (4–12 weeks) based on demand and supply inputs
  • Develop and maintain a rolling 12-month demand and capacity outlook
  • Build and update production plans through the S&OP process
  • Balance production capacity constraints and inventory levels to achieve target service levels
  • Optimize WIP and finished goods levels based on capacity utilization and demand requirements
  • Serve as supply chain point of contact for customer-facing planning activities
  • Perform customer order entry in the ERP system in accordance with customer specifications
  • Maintain inventory planning parameters and support inventory management activities
