About the Role

This position is specific to Data Center Containment products: process and expedite customer inquiries, quotes, and orders in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. Perform purchasing functions to ensure adequate flow of critical materials, and source new products and vendors as required for specific initiatives. Work in a team environment with manufacturing, project engineers, logistics, and sales to successfully fulfill customer requirements.

Actively participate in team problem‑solving exercises, communicate concerns and issues, and work towards successful resolutions.

What You’ll Do
  • Accurately and expeditiously process and monitor orders from customer PO and order entry through shipping.
  • Working with commercial team, ensure compliance to customer deadline requirements for quotes, lead times, samples, complaint resolution, order fulfillment, and related processes.
  • Assist with resolving critical situations and revisions with professional deportment and provide support to multiple Tate teams in the execution of customer requirements.
  • Receive customer claim requests and concerns; assist Claims Dept. with relevant information and participate in successful resolution.
  • Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with all inter‑company departments and personnel, dealers, end‑users, and suppliers.
  • Assist in project forecasting for resource and material planning; gain full understanding of all material applications and uses and constructability of finished products.
  • Ensure and be accountable for accuracy on all levels of systemic functions and reporting.
  • Assist with determining and maintaining adequate material stock levels and ensure appropriate material flow.
  • Monitor and correct inventory, initiate corrective actions with team when necessary.
  • Suggest alternate uses to avoid material obsolescence.
  • Work with team to expedite material and determine new and alternate sources as required.
  • Gain critical understanding of material costs, commodity swings, and cost drivers to obtain most advantageous and competitive prices.
  • Facilitate International shipping arrangements, ensuring proper documentation, HTS codes, and freight requirements.
  • Successful and timely completion of assigned relative training initiatives.
Additional Expectations
  • Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
  • Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
  • Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
  • Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.
What You’ll Bring
  • College degree with relevancy to position functions, and/or: sufficient experience to have demonstrated capacity, means, aptitude, and initiative to solve problems, achieve desired outcomes, and initiate process improvements.
  • Previous experience in a service industry or customer service position, and/or:
  • Previous experience with purchasing processes, vendor sourcing, and/or:
  • Previous experience with material management, inventory control, and MRP systems.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Key Attributes:
  • Ability to use proprietary systems such as AS400, COM quoting tools, etc.
  • Extreme proficiency with computer skills.
  • Well‑versed with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Superior interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adjust to changing project schedules.
