Yard Driver - Property ( Shift

Responsibilities

Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and in writing with customers, suppliers, and associates.

Maintain trailers by inspecting for mechanical safety, emergency equipment, fuel levels, and performing inventory checks.

Utilize warehouse management systems, including yard management and radio systems, to move trailers to designated locations.

Ensure quality by maintaining records, logs, and forms, including DOT‑required forms.

Operate tractor‑trailer units safely, adhering to all safety requirements and placing trailers in designated locations.

• Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
• At least 6 months experience operating tractor‑trailer units.

Hourly wage range: $23.60 – $27.10. Additional premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
