The Rehadapt North America Hub Manager will oversee and be responsible for the daily operations of the hub, including Receiving, Inventory Control, Shipping, and the picking of Virtuell Mounting Solutions (VMS). This role ensures that supply chain processes are efficient while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
As a Logistics Manager North America, you will be responsible for:
- Manage the overall Receiving process, including warehousing and inventory control.
- Manage the overall supply chain process, which includes the entire workflow from raw materials to finished goods.
- Manage the overall Shipping process, which includes packaging and shipping of finished products to our customers and ensuring timely delivery.
- Assemble custom‑made products for Virtuell Mounting Solutions (VMS) in close collaboration with the technical team in Kassel.
- Identify and implement improvements in logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of logistics operations and implement necessary improvements.
- Maintain an understanding of ERP systems and other systems within the logistics process.
- Communicate effectively with headquarters to coordinate cross‑functional collaboration.
- Review open orders and pick, pack, and ship products and accessories to customers.
- Perform a basic functional test and add the software to the devices.
- Prepare packages for shipment according to carrier instructions for UPS based on packing slips.
- Ensure that packages are shipped on a timely basis and consult with managers and internal customers regarding any shipping issues or clarifications.
- Receive, inspect, and restock items daily.
- Rebuild mounts received back from customers.
- Restock shipping boxes and other supplies as needed.
- Maintain a well‑organized and lean work environment.
- Identify areas of improvement and suggest solutions.
- Perform various duties as assigned.
- Be a self‑starter and self‑motivated.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in logistics.
- Proven experience managing inbound and outbound logistics.
- Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and tools.
- Certification and/or formal education in Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Distribution, or similar fields.
- APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).
- APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
- Certified Logistics Professional (CLP) / Certified Logistics Associate (CLA).
- Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt).
- Well versed in all computer systems, Word, Excel, and the ERP System OODO.
- Understanding of process improvement and lean concepts.
- Detail‑oriented.
- Good written and oral communication.
- Interpersonal and strong leadership skills.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and trainings.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
