IGO is seeking an Asset and Logistics Officer to join our small team in Midvale. In this hands‑on role, you will play a key part in supporting our remote field teams by ensuring critical equipment, supplies and assets are available when and where they are needed. Responsibilities include warehouse operations, inventory management, freight coordination, asset movements, and equipment maintenance – all helping to keep our exploration activities safe, efficient and well supported.
Responsibilities- Prepare and pack exploration gear to be deployed to remote exploration camps, book freight and load trucks.
- Coordinate vehicle/equipment servicing (trailers, caravans, generators etc.).
- Conduct audits on equipment and gear returning from the field.
- Support general warehouse operations, inventory control, stocktakes and asset management.
- Raise purchase orders, receipt invoices and keep the system updated.
- Report incidents and contribute to safety initiatives, inspections and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships to support business objectives.
- Experience in Logistics / Warehousing / Stores positions supporting field-based exploration programs.
- Action oriented and can get the job done with minimal supervision.
- MR / HR Driver's Licence (preferred) and competent in towing trailers and caravans.
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) with the ability to learn new software.
- Excellent attention to detail and great communication skills.
- Able to work autonomously and with good problem‑solving skills.
- Comfortable with changing priorities, ambiguity and time pressure.
- Current ‘C’ Class Manual Driver’s Licence.
- High Risk work licence (LF) Forklift.
- A recent National Police Clearance (within 2 months).
