Project Material Expeditor

New River Electrical Corporation seeks a Project Material Expeditor to support high-voltage substation, transmission, and distribution projects. In this role, you will coordinate and track materials from purchase order through delivery, ensuring crews have the right equipment and components on time and in the correct quantities. Working closely with project managers, field supervisors, and vendors, you will monitor lead times, shipping schedules, and inventory, resolving shortages and discrepancies quickly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement and delivery of materials for high-voltage utility projects
• Track material status, lead times, and shipment schedules to prevent project delays
• Work closely with project managers, field crews, and vendors to align material needs with construction timelines
• Maintain accurate inventory records, packing lists, and documentation for all project materials
• Resolve shortages, damaged shipments, and discrepancies with suppliers
• Support forecasting of material requirements for substations, transmission, and distribution projects
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards in all material handling activities
• Use ERP or inventory systems to update orders, receipts, and material usage
