CGL is a provider of justice facility planning, design, program management, and maintenance solutions to justice facilities and other public facilities throughout the U.S. and internationally. CGL Facility Management, LLC provides comprehensive contract facility maintenance services to commercial clients.

The Groundskeeper will be responsible for grass cutting, trimming, debris removal, and general grounds maintenance inside a detention facility. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, but requires on-call availability for emergency situations.

• Responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the grounds surrounding the facility, including removal of trash and debris.
• Cuts the grass, trims, and mows using appropriate groundskeeping equipment.
• Applies weed killer around the fence line of the facility.
• Assists in the performance of general maintenance duties within the facility as required during off-season and inclement weather.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of groundskeeping or landscaping experience required.
• Knowledge and ability to safely operate equipment and basic repair and maintenance of groundskeeping equipment.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Able to work in all weather conditions.
• Must pass a thorough background check, motor vehicle check, and drug test.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
