Join the African Businesses Association (ABA) as a Non-Executive Director. We are seeking dynamic and committed individuals to join our Board of Directors. As a Non-Executive Director, you will provide strategic guidance, oversight, and expertise to help shape the future of ABA.

Responsibilities
As a trustee, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction, ensuring good governance, and acting in the best interests of African Business Association, Yorkshire.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing strategic guidance and oversight

• Ensuring good governance and compliance

• Attending Board meetings and participating in decision-making

• Providing oversight and scrutiny of financial management and reporting

• Supporting the development of ABA’s strategic plans and policies

• Building relationships with stakeholders and partners

• Advocacy and Fundraising:
Promoting African Business Association mission and supporting fundraising efforts.

Meetings:
Our trustee board meetings take place at least 10 times a year. In addition. You may also be expected to participate in sub-committee meetings, other special projects and fundraising events.
