SUMMARY:

Responsible for the overall management and training of the staff, operations and financial results of the branch. Originates and approves consumer loans.

• Manages overall branch operations.
• Manages branch personnel.
• Performs normal CSR duties on a daily basis.
  • Provides training to branch staff.
  • Proficiency in new deposit accounts and related services/products offered.
  • Establishes and helps to attain internal performance objectives for branch office business volume, deposits, loan portfolios and quality of reports.
• Participates in and encourages lending consumer activities directly.
• Directs financial institution personnel in activities to ensure prompt, accurate and dependable customer service.
• Opens and closes the branch; maintains and stays abreast of security policies and procedures.
• Supervises vault operations and procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of branch policies and procedures with respect to approving checks and overrides.
• Handles customer problems and complaints; counsels customers with special needs or requests.
• Participates in activities for generating new business such as events.
• Supervises preparation and distribution of monthly branch reports (new accounts/loans).
• Performs annual performance reviews of branch CSRs.
• Through on-the-job training and attendance in approved classes, gains understanding of any applications of Federal and State laws concerning the purpose, processing, approval and denial of loan requests and negotiable instruments.
• Develops a strong working knowledge of the consumer state laws and federal regulations.
• May be assigned additional duties as deemed necessary.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent financial related experience.
• Two plus years of experience in a financial institution.
• Good written, verbal and supervisory skills.
