We are hiring a Plant Manager. The Plant Manager is responsible for managing the operational results of the manufacturing facilities in Verona, VA, including day‑to‑day areas of safety, quality, delivery and financial performance of the reporting departments. The role also involves executing the business unit’s strategies, implementing the company’s vision and driving continuous improvement for future growth and success. This role is located in Verona, VA, and will be on‑site.

- Work within Wieland’s operating philosophy, reinforcing cultural values to optimize behavioural and performance expectations and ensuring organisational structure and policies support this framework.
- Maintain a safe working environment for all employees by adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines for environmental, health and safety.
- Support execution of capital projects and plans driven by the site’s operational needs and Wieland’s strategic needs.
- Review appropriate inventory levels and materials necessary for manufacturing and approve high‑value inventory purchases.
- Continuously reduce costs and improve performance throughout all aspects of the business.
- Help evaluate potential product development projects and support implementation, as needed.
- Achieve and/or exceed budgeted turnover and EBITDA results.
- Satisfy customer expectations for quality, delivery and performance of products and services.
- Assure performance to annual operational performance objectives of the organisation.
- Align entity’s results and strategy with the overall corporate strategic vision.
- Reinforce the company’s core cultural values and set a positive personal example to the team to optimise behavioural and performance expectations.
- Develop employees to foster continuous improvement.
- Allocate resources effectively and develop employee skills to create a highly flexible workforce.
- Ensure retention of key members, identify and develop new talents of the core operating team.
- Align priorities, communicate expectations and progress, and effectively manage individuals as well as team performance.
- Monitor KPIs and trigger corrective and improvement actions on a continuous basis.
- Additional responsibilities as directed by the Director of Operations.
